Marketing Challenges

YYZ Talks came to The Art of Business looking for a stronger system to turn awareness into client acquisition. As a growing therapy practice in Ontario, they needed more than traffic alone. They needed a scalable marketing system that could attract qualified users, support lead generation across channels, and create a clearer path from first click to inquiry.

To support that growth, we developed a connected strategy focused on paid advertising, social media advertising, email marketing, and ongoing performance analysis. The goal was to improve efficiency, strengthen conversion opportunities, and build a more dependable marketing engine that could support both immediate momentum and long-term growth.

Project highlights

Paid advertising became a key part of YYZ Talks’ client-acquisition strategy. Our work focused on building and optimizing Google Ads campaigns that could drive qualified traffic, improve conversion efficiency, and create a stronger path from click to inquiry. As the campaigns developed, paid search became a more reliable source of traffic and a stronger contributor to the clinic’s overall growth.

Our social media advertising strategy focused on expanding reach, increasing exposure, and driving more user action during active campaign periods. By coordinating campaigns around client priorities and optimizing for performance, we helped YYZ Talks strengthen its paid social presence and improve results without relying on disproportionate increases in spend.

Email marketing gave YYZ Talks a stronger way to stay visible, build familiarity, and remain relevant to its audience over time. In a mental health practice, where trust and timing are especially important, this channel helped create repeated touchpoints that kept the clinic top of mind and supported deeper engagement as the list continued to grow.

Results

The results of the strategy were strong across all three channels.

On Google Ads, impressions increased by 287% from October 2025 to December 2025. Conversion rate peaked at 17.97% in November 2025, and average CPC dropped to $1.34 in December 2025. From October 2025 through December 2025, Google/CPC became the top source of total users, sessions, and page views.

Social media advertising also delivered strong year-over-year gains. September 2025 reach increased by 26% year-over-year, while October 2025 reach increased by 161% year over year. Click-through rates peaked at over 4%, and stronger results were achieved without proportional increases in ad spend.

Email marketing added another standout layer of performance. From October 2024 to January 2026, the majority of months maintained open rates at or above 70%, with multiple months exceeding 80%. Click activity remained strong across campaigns, with months consistently delivering engagement—clearly showing that email was successfully driving both awareness and high-value action.

Together, these results reflect stronger efficiency, better traffic quality, and a more dependable conversion system for YYZ Talks.

Impact

By combining paid advertising, email marketing, and ongoing analysis into one connected strategy, YYZ Talks built a stronger foundation for scalable growth. The result was a more reliable lead-generation engine, a clearer path to client acquisition, and stronger cross-channel performance across paid and owned media.

Google Ads became a top traffic source. Social media advertising expanded reach efficiently. Email maintained unusually strong open performance as the audience grew. Together, these efforts gave YYZ Talks a more effective marketing system — one built to support continued growth, stronger conversion, and more consistent momentum over time.
