Growth in the Midst of a Global Pandemic

As strategic marketing partners for Austen Jewellers, The Art of Business wanted to make sure that Austen Jewellers succeeded during these tumultuous times. Staying agile and being able to adapt and pivot quickly and effectively was essential with the many changes in how businesses are allowed to operate due to COVID protocols. Working strategically with Austen Jewellers, we are thrilled to say that this local jeweller has seen overwhelming success despite the pandemic. Although there have been restrictions for in-store visits, thanks to innovative changes such as online shopping through their brand new e-commerce website, Austen Jewellers has actually seen an increase in their business.

This growth has been in part due to new attractive marketing campaigns led by Art of B on Austen Jewellers’ social media accounts such as Facebook and Instagram. We’re also proud to report that the beautiful, engaging social media posts have helped Austen Jewellers make quite a few related sales. Imagine what we could do for your small business!

As for all of us, the recent worldwide pandemic caused some changes in the way that Austen Jewellers conduct business in their shop. To communicate with customers about safety protocols, they also required a bit of assistance from our graphic design team. As a result, we have created a beautiful selection of signage for their physical location.

A Fresh New Look for Austen Jewellers

One of the main goals for Austen Jewellers has been to refresh the brand as a whole to reflect the tradition and elegance of their business. Ed, our Evoker of Dreams and Art Director here at The Art of B reflected on the task of elevating Austen Jewellers brand, “Elegance, prestige and family values are very important in the brand strategy we developed for Austen Jewellers. We helped them to clarify the way their branding was connecting with their clientele by unifying typographies, finding purpose in how colours play a role in the brand communication towards products and also how the tone of our copywriters connects to the AJ brand core values. From the art department, we are truly happy we could help organize the visual look and feel of their brand.”

In addition to rebuilding their online presence, the Art of B now produces all of Austen Jewellers printed materials. The new branding has made a big splash and has helped in creating a cohesive look both on, and off-line. 

For instance, you can now pick up a “hint hint” card at Austen Jewellers. This luxuriously chic Hint Hint card helps customers write down the specifics of a piece of jewellery that they’d like to receive and pass along the hint to their sweetie. Another project our graphic design team took on was a jewellery repair protocol sign.

These small details are just a few examples of how the Art of B works with Austen Jewellers to provide support, strategy, and concrete deliverables on an ongoing basis. We’re excited to have formed such a strong and successful relationship with our favourite local jeweller and offer the top-level marketing solutions they need to thrive as a business.
